One business per page, costed at what the data actually charges. The input is usually pennies; the margin is real, and so is the work nobody else mentions.
Every page here answers the same four questions: who pays, what you sell them, what it costs you per unit, and where it gets hard. The costs are our published prices rather than an estimate, so the arithmetic is checkable — and the last question is why these are longer than a listicle.
None of these is a business you can start this afternoon and none of them is passive. What is true is that the data underneath them, which used to be the expensive part, now costs less than the coffee you plan it over.
Where the numbers come from
Each unit cost is the list price of the Actor that produces that data, charged per result. Nothing is charged for an input that returns nothing — a video with no captions, a domain with no contact page — so the figures on these pages are what a full run bills, not a best case. The benchmarks show how often inputs return nothing, which is the number that turns a per-unit price into a real cost per usable row.
Model, hosting and labour lines are our own estimates and are marked as such in each table. The labour line is included on purpose: a 99% margin that ignores twenty hours of your week is not a margin.
